The in- and outpatient Clinic for Urology treats the entire spectrum of urological disorders.
Focus areas are the surgical and pharmacological treatment of urological tumors and the plastic-reconstructive urological treatment of deformities of the external genitals and the urinary tract collection system. Included in the clinics spectrum of plastic-reconstructive procedures are corrections of intersexual genitals and transgender surgeries in adults.

Fields of Research
The research focus of the Clinic for Urology is the identification of signaling pathways in tumor cells which causes increased metastasis.
Essential signal proteins are tested for their prognostic value for the individualized and risk-adapted oncological treatment of patients. The clinic cooperates closely with the Institutes of Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Pathology, and Anatomy.
Number of patients
The clinic employs a team of 17 physicians, including 7 specialists in urology, and 33 nurses, 18% of whom have advanced specialized training in the clinic's fields.
