Focus areas

All skin tumors, benign and malignant, such as cutaneous carcinomas, malignant melanomas, and cutaneous sarcomas are diagnosed and treated using surgical excision, micrographically monitored surgery, laser therapy, immunotherapy and chemotherapy.

A clinical focus area is the treatment of dermatological conditions that commonly afflict organ and bone marrow transplant patients.

Patients with HIV infections and HIV-associated diseases receive comprehensive interdisciplinary care, specific anti-retroviral treatments and therapies for concomitant diseases.

Cosmetic dermatology is also important to us. We treat, for example, keloids and hypertrophic scar tissue, hemangiomas, port-wine marks, and spider-burst varices, and we remove age spots using laser therapy.
