Focus areas

Our clinic offers the entire spectrum of conservative and surgical ear, nose, and throat treatments. Focus areas include, but are not limited to, surgery of the inner ear and the cranial base (including the intraoperative use of navigation systems), the treatment of malignant tumors in the head and neck region, including function and organ sparing laser surgery, plastic-esthetic as well as plastic-reconstructive surgery, orbital surgery, and cochlear implants.

In addition, we offer the latest procedures of minimally invasive sinus surgery, salivary gland surgery, surgical care of midfacial injuries, and the diagnosis and treatment of equilibrium disorders (e.g., Ménières Disease).

The clinic is part of the West German Tumor Center at Essen.

Staff

The clinic employs 25 physicians, including 12 specialists with advanced specialist training in areas such as specialized ENT surgery, plastic surgery, and allergology. In addition, there are 43 nurses, 11% of whom have advanced specialized training in the clinic's fields.
